Sometimes it just seems like we're never going to get there! Motivation is waning. Friends have become food pushers. What's a healthy minded indidivdual to do?

HOW DO I GET THE COURAGE TO COME BACK?

"For years I have been in the pattern of having significant weight losses and then gaining it all back. I started again on Monday, and I didn't weigh myself until today. I am soooo disgusted with myself. I am afraid people will look at me and think, Look at her.You can tell she gained her weight back. What wisdom can you give me?"

I'M HAVING TROUBLE DOING IF FOR SOMEONE ELSE WHAT DO I DO?

"My primary reason for losing is my husband, who needs to loose like 130 lbs. I am the encouragement for him to go, along with a good friend. I find the restriction of loosing weight for someone my size (I only need to lose 8 pounds and I've lost it already) is awfully hard, but will continue to do so if required. How do I support my husband without going to another meeting?"

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO WEIGH?

"A friend told me that I could speed up my weight loss if I weigh in the morning? I'm frustated because I'm not losing weight very quickly. Would it help if I changed the time I weigh in?"

I'VE GOT SO FAR TO GO AND LIFE KEEPS GETTING IN THE WAY...

"I've been going to WW forever it seems. I have over 130lbs to lose. And I've been going to WW for the last 10 years off and on. At least once a year, I get motivated and may have two or three great weeks and inevitably something happens that I get sick and I can't do the program and exercise. I then get discouraged and go into depression and feel hopeless in that I'm never going to make it. How do you keep motivated when things "just happen"?

"We're supposed to go out of town for a vacation. I've been doing real well on the program but this is my first time on vacation while trying to lose weight. I'm really scared. What do I do?"

"At my age, the way to meet people is happy hour. In college I was the drinker and it is expected of me. Now, I can't eat "bar" food, I can't drink those drinks so I simply don't go out. Now I am spending time alone and that makes me want to eat!!! HELP!"
