| The Wilsonville Chamber of Commerce was very fortunate to have Scott present at our October Successful Business University on a trip through Oregon. The presentation was top-notch and our members greatly enjoyed the humor, stories, and lessons learned. We had a number of new faces in the audience that day, and Scott’s presentation assisted in showing them the quality and value of our speaker series. I look forward to working with Scott on a number of future projects and would refer him to any organization! |

| The Municipal Clerks Association of New Jersey was indeed fortunate to have Scott Marcus as a keynote speaker at our Annual Education Conference. He was witty, insightful and kept us laughing while at the same time providing helpful information that we were able to take home with us for use in our daily lives. It was a pleasure working with him to set up the sessions as he was cooperative and had great suggestions on how to make sure we had the best sessions. | The training was enjoyed by everyone - and they wanted more! It is unusual for everyone to enjoy a training. We usually have one or two that didn't like something. I was surprised by the interaction ... I guess you have the right touch to get them involved.
I greatly recommend you. You are the best trainer we have had in years. thanks for comiong and you were very much enjoyed by everyone and we learned a lot. (My Pick One thing, Make it Small, Focus on Today card is on my bathroom mirror, and I look at it several times a day.) |

| Scott offers an engaging program – engaging in the sense that the participants can relate to his humor, to his stories, to his activities, and to his message. As I looked around the room to gauge how he was being received and if my staff was really listening or just putting in their time, I saw folks who laughed when it was appropriate to laugh, nod in agreement when he struck a common cord with them, and sit up and lean forward completely absorbed in his message. At times, the whole room “clicked” in their response to him. This was exactly what the doctor ordered. They needed to hear how they can manage their attitudes and habits to positively affect not only themselves but their personal and professional relationships. |

| I engaged with Scott “Q” Marcus to develop a workshop for our overworked, tired, and stressed IT department. Everyone was skeptical about bringing in a speaker to learn about handling stress, personal interactions, and overall self management; We were blown away! Scott connected with our entire staff. I had never seen my staff so excited and energized about being able to cope with their work environment. Scott was able to illustrate key techniques that the staff could, and would use. | My staff thoroughly enjoyed Scott "Q" Marcus's assembly. He was witty, wise and infused a well-balanced message into his presentation. Rapt attention was paid to Scott as he described the importance of communicating and developing relationships within the entire staff. His role playing portion added humor, real life situations and lessons learned. Staff who normally did not offer to participate found themselves joining in. Mr. Marcus also gave steps to conflict resolution and how to derive consensus so as to function in a healthy manner at the workplace. His message of taking one small step today is pertinent to people of all ages in all walks of life. As a result of Scott's in-service my staff felt the school year got off to a much better start. |

| As I returned to my desk, staff members with a twinkle in their eyes and a smile on their face stopped me and told me how much they enjoyed the presentation. As a manager, it truly is a reward to know that I have been involved in something that has made the staff feel better about themselves and the work they do.
Many of the staff was impressed by the website and survey. Other speakers have presented for our department and have not done sufficient prework to really understand what we do for the residents of Contra Costa County. Great introduction, fun speaker - excellent for end of conference! Great session - upbeat and kept us engaged. Not boring! Related session to us as a clerk.
