How would you like to:
> Stress Less
> Smile More Often?
Well, if you'll come to my presentation on March 21, 2008 in Wenatchee from 9AM to 12:15, you will.
I refer to myself as a "recovering perfectionist" because I really want to do things perfectly. However, once I "blow it" or fail at something, my perfectionism kicks in and I say to myself "Well, as long as I blew it, I might as well really blow it." I then give up until next Monday, next month, or next year, only to find myself in the same situation as I've always been. The key is to strive to get "better," not "perfect." Hence, the title I've chosen. I've given you some information on this page but if you'd like to download a more detailed flyer, you can click here.
How does this affect you?
I'm glad you asked.
I've done this presentation (or variations thereof) for organizations ranging from City Clerks to Engineers, from Foster Parents to Appraisers, and once they understand that I'm not asking people to lower their sites, but to not let bumps get in the way of their goals, they have a lot of fun and end up being more productive and happier, which translates into:
| § Improved communication skills
§ Less conflict
§ Improved health
|
§ A better ability to organize
§ Improved goal setting
§ Better attitude
|
How do you know if you should attend?
If you're one of the following types of personalities, this session is essential for you!
| § Perfect-o-Holics & Rescuers who take on too much saying, Who else will do it as well as ME? (You know who you are!)
§ Professional Worriers who get overstressed due to concerns about workload, poor health habits, or life imbalance
|
§ Procrastinators wishing to lose weight, enjoy more family time, get organized... (Insert Dream Here): One of these days...
§ ANYONE who wants to develop some valuable life skills, feel motivated, and have a playful time before leaving
|
What do you need to do now?
Actually, nothing. However, I would really welcome some input on what bothers you, what works well for you, what you like, and what you don't. So, you can contact me at scottq@scottqmarcus.com or call me at 707.442.6243. If you would like, I have a really brief questionnaire you can answer on line too, by clicking here. That's all - and only if you have the time. (I realize you have a life and a job.)
There are links at the bottom of this page if you'd like to know a little more about me, my weight loss history, and my philosophies. Again, thank you for your time.
